AdAlta has been granted a new composition of matter patent relating to its first in class anti-fibrotic product, AD-214.

Canadian Patent Number 2,973,317, entitled “CXCR4 binding molecules”, has an expiry date of 8 January 2036.

AdAlta CEO and Managing Director, Tim Oldham said: "Composition of matter patents are the strongest form of patent protection and a key part of the data package partners expect from us. This Canadian patent completes the protection of AD-214 in all major commercial markets and its potential supply chain.”
